roots of powerpop
oh yeah. emphasis on the power, emphasis on the pop.
"I Can't pretend" barracud is sometimes close to pop punk but damn it sounds good.
"Apologies" Point Sticks i had this on a mixtape i made @ WALT ages ago. awesome.
"It's About Time" Pandora birds style arpeggios but with a little more snarl...
"The Trains" Nashville Rumblers - great vocal melody and harmonies. more towards 60 pop rock
"Biggest Gossip in Town" Rockin' Horse- pretty much straight early/mid beatles pop- maybe this is a cover....
